Is the largest fish in the ocean and feeds on the tiniest creatures (plankton, krill, fish eggs…).
Can reach up to 14m (46 feet) in length- Females are bigger than males
They can weight up to 20 Tons.
The are Ovoviviparous, that means the eggs are hatched inside the mother.
Their matting or pupping has never being observed.
Their spots patterns is unique, like a human fingerprint.
Scientifics are still not sure how long they can live, estimate is over 100 years.
Since 2016 is considered a vulnerable species, is in the IUNC Red List.
They have more than 3.000 tiny teeth, less than 4mm long, and they do not use them to feed.
They are harmless to humans.
